KMST v.1.2.406 ~ Resistance, Aran, & Evan Revamp

As I previously told you, Nexon Korea will start releasing many revamps to all classes, starting from October, this month.

Two days ago (I know this is late, don’t say so), the first revamp came and it made changes for Resistance, Aran, and Evan characters. The changes are, to be honest, pretty lame. Generally, all the skills had their damage increased, amount of enemies they hit increased (to 8), and some skills were rearranged. There aren’t too many new skills, if any.

Aside from that were other changes such as Elin Forest expansion. I’ll start off with the skill changes:

Battle Mage

Battle Mage (1st)
Triple Blow
Damage Increased (105% at max level -> 130% at max level).
Amount of Enemies Hit Increased (6 -> 8).
Range Increased.

The Finisher
After Triple Blow:
Damage Increased by 40% (340% at max level -> 380% at max level).
Amount of Enemies Hit Increased (6 -> 8).

After Quad Blow:
Damage Increased by 50% (460% at max level -> 510% at max level).
Amount of Enemies Hit Increased (6 -> 8).
Range Increased.
New Feature! 25% chance to ignore monster’s DEF at max level.

After Quintuple Blow:
Damage Increased by 60% (600% at max level -> 660% at max level).
Amount of Enemies Hit Increased (6 -> 8).
Range Increased.
New Feature! 30% chance to ignore monster’s DEF at max level.

After Finishing Blow:
Damage Increased by 80% (760% at max level -> 840% at max level).
Amount of Enemies Hit Increased (6 -> 8).
Range Increased.
New Feature! 35% chance to ignore monster’s DEF at max level.

Battle Mage (2nd)
Quad Blow
Damage Increased (110% at max level -> 135% at max level).
Amount of Enemies Hit Increased (6 -> 8).
Range Increased.

Dark Chain
Skill Removed.

Advanced Dark Chain
Moved from 3rd job to 2nd job.
Amount of Enemies Hit: 8 at max level -> 8 at all levels.
Required MP: 35 at max level -> 80 at max level.
Everything else stayed the same at max level.

High Wisdom
Moved from, well, any 2nd job Magician to 2nd job Battle Mage.
Max Level: 10.
INT Bonus: +40 at max level.

Battle Mage (3rd)
Quintuple Blow
Damage Increased (115% at max level -> 140% at max level).
Amount of Enemies Hit Increased (6 -> 8).
Range Increased.

Dark Shock
Damage Increased by 40% (1,000% at max level -> 1,040% at max level).
Amount of Enemies Hit Increased (6 -> 8).

Conversion
Duration Increased by 60 seconds (120 seconds at max level -> 180 seconds at max level).

Blue Aura
Moved from 2nd job to 3rd job.
New Features! Permanently adds 250 HP and 40 Weapon/Magic DEF at max level.
Everything else stayed the same.

Advanced Dark Aura
Moved from 4th job to 3rd job.
Max Level: 30 -> 10.
Required MP: 60 at max level -> 40 at max level.
Everything else stayed the same at max level.

Power Stance
Moved from 4th job to 3rd job.
Max Level: 30 -> 10.
Required MP: 90 at max level -> 70 at max level (same formula).
Everything else stayed the same at max level.

Battle Mage (4th)
Finishing Blow
Damage Increased (145% at max level -> 180% at max level).
Amount of Enemies Hit Increased (6 -> 8).
Range Increased.

Twister Spin
Damage Decreased (1,000% at max level -> 600% at max level).
New variable called ‘speed’, it’s value is 20. I think it means bonus speed you get when you’re in twister mode.

Dark Genesis
Damage Increased (1,800% at max level -> 2,000% at max level).

Energize
Max Level: 10 -> 30.
MaxHP Bonus: 20% at max level -> 30% at max level.
Weapon/Magic DEF Bonus: 150 at max level -> 450 at max level (same formula).
New Feature! Increases your MaxHP by 30% at max level.

Advanced Blue Aura
Moved from 3rd job to 4th job.
Max Level: 20 -> 30.
Abnormal Status Resistance Bonus: 20% at max level -> 30% at max level.
Elemental Resistance Bonus: 20% at max level -> 30% at max level.
Amount of Damage Absorbed: 30% at max level -> 35% at max level.
DEF Bonus: 60% at max level -> 90% at max level.
Required MP: 62 at max level -> 50 at max level.
Variable x: 40 at max level -> 45 at max level.
(All the formulas stayed the same)

Wild Hunter

Wild Hunter (1st)
Triple Shot
Damage Increased (93% at max level -> 120% at max level).

Jaguar Rider
New Feature! Increases your minimum critical damage by 8 at max level.

Jag Jump
New variables added, x & y. x = 550 at max level, y = 350 at max level. I’m guessing it’s associated with the amount of pixels you jump.

Wild Hunter (2nd)
Ricochet
Damage Increased (310% at max level -> 360% at max level).
Amount of Enemies Hit Increased (6 -> 8).

Jaguar Rawr
Damage Increased (230% at max level -> 280% at max level).
Amount of Enemies Hit Increased (6 -> 8).

Jaguar-oshi
Max Level: 20 -> 10.
Everything stayed the same at max level.

Physical Training
Moved from other 2nd jobs to Wild Hunter 2nd job.
Max Level: 10.
STR Bonus: +30 at max level.
DEX Bonus: +30 at max level.

Wild Hunter (3rd)
Enduring Fire
Damage Increased (144% at max level -> 184% at max level).

Blind
Max Level: 20 -> 10.
New Features! Decreases the enemy’s DEF by 50 at max level.
Everything else stayed the same at max level.

Swipe
Damage Increased (190% at max level -> 300% at max level).
Amount of Enemies Hit Increased (6 -> 8).

Feline Berserk
Moved from 4th job to 3rd job.
Everything stayed the same.

Wild Hunter (4th)
Wild Arrow Blast
Damage Increased (220% at max level -> 270% at max level).

Sonic Roar
Damage Increased by 100% (850% at max level -> 950% at max level).

Exploding Arrows
Damage Increased (100% at max level -> 180% at max level).
New Feature! Has a 100% chance to stun the enemy (100% at all levels) for 10 seconds at max level.

Stink Bomb Shot
Max Level: 20 -> 10.
Everything else stayed the same at max level.

Advanced Final Attack
Moved from Mercedes’ 4th job (or actually, Aran’s 4th job after this update) to 4th job Wild Hunter.
Max Level: 30.
Permanent ATT Bonus: +20 at max level.
Permanent Accuracy Bonus: +10% at max level.
Damage: 210% at max level.
Probability: 70% at max level.

New variable ‘w’, it’s value is 30 at max level. Don’t really know what it means.
Also, ‘cooldown’ and ‘time’ variables removed. I don’t think it means that the cooldown was removed, though.

Damage Increased by 20% (100% at max level -> 120% at max level).

Laser Blast
Damage Increased (360% at max level -> 500% at max level).

Damage Increased (1,250% at max level -> 1,440% at max level).

Damage Increased by 20% (95% at max level -> 110% at max level).

New Feature! Increases your attack speed by 1 (at all levels).

New Feature! 30% chance to stun for 10 seconds at max level.

Max Level: 20 -> 10.
Damage: 100% at all levels -> 110% at max level.
Everything else stayed the same at max level.

Combo Fenrir
Damage Increased (430% at max level -> 480% at max level).

Final Attack
Moved from, uh, basically any other 2nd job to Aran’s 2nd job.
Max Level: 20.
Damage: 200% at max level.
Probability: 80% at max level.

Aran (3rd)
Full Swing
Damage Increased (540% at max level -> 570% at max level).

Final Toss
Damage Increased (350% at max level -> 400% at max level).

Rolling Spin
Damage Increased (110% at max level -> 160% at max level).

Cleaving Blows
Max Level: 20 -> 10.
Amount of Monster’s DEF Ignored: 25% at max level -> 40% at max level.
Damage Dispersal Reduction Feature Removed.
New Feature! Adds 20% more damage when fighting bosses.

Combo Judgment (Glitch that’s still not fixed in GMS, should be ‘Combo Judgement’)
Damage Increased (500% at max level -> 550% at max level).

New Skill! Maha’s Blessing:

Description: The spirit of Maha’s polearm will protect you and your party by increasing your DEF.

New Feature! Increases your MaxHP by 20% at max level.

Damage Increased (720% at max level -> 790% at max level).

Other Changes

  • As I said in the beginning, Elin Forest was expanded:

Sorry I don’t have the big maps when you click on the minimaps as I had on the Monster Park thing, I lost my method for that along with my computer and I’m too lazy to code it again.

Anyway, you can also click on the arrows on the World Map at the top! Also, what you notice there is a couple of new maps which include a new boss!

Her name is Epineah. She drops a ring called Epineah’s Ring. Nothing special, just +2 on all stats and +1 ATT…

She’s pretty weak since she’s only level 115, only 9.5 million HP.

Oh and also, as I said a while ago, there’s a new medal called Elin Forest Explorers (+4 all stats, +1 Weapon/Magic ATT, 90 Weapon/Magic DEF, +160 HP/MP, +40 Accuracy/Avoidability, +7 Speed, +1 PvP ATT). You can get it by doing quests which I believe involve killing Epineah.

  • The Wild Hunter’s Jaguar’s range of picking stuff up has increased.
  • There’s a new jaguar for Wild Hunters which you can get from a quest (more details when it comes out to KMS, don’t have a Wild Hunter in KMST):

  • New weapons for Maple Union, more quests added and now you get weapons:

Union Crossbow – [Level 75] +93 Weapon ATT, 57% Knock-back, 7 slots.

Union Gun – [Level 75] +70 Weapon ATT, 7 slots.

Union Polearm – [Level 75] +97 Weapon ATT, 7 slots.

Union Staff – [Level 75] +105 Magic ATT, +69 Weapon ATT, 7 slots.

Union Wand – [Level 75] +105 Magic ATT, +64 Weapon ATT, 7 slots.

  • New merchant added that enables you to also buy items, not just sell some!
  • Halloween Events added.

    I heard that evan attacks get sped up again from orangemushroom’s blog.

    did you just copy and paste the changes from other blogs? ’cause you didn’t fix the typo with the %’s, also that wasn’t my point, you said the changes were pretty lame, mech’s siege mode became toggle on/off, and laser got to 1500%, the WH’s got AFA and wild arrow blast buffed to 270% per arrow, BaMs had a 16.66% damage increase just to use AYA and ADA at the same time, and for evans, you didn’t mention the new skill and they’re damage with this update is more than DOUBLE the damage of archmages with jump/ascension, this changes are NOT lame

      – What typos with the %’s are you talking about?
      – Mech’s Siege Mode – Don’t have a Mechanic in KMST, how should I know?
      – If you read, I said the changes are lame because there aren’t too many new skills. As in, 100% NEW.

  6. i was rude but, more than being copy+paste it just have some errors, we don’t have 4th term information yet but in lots of forums it’s been disscused that there are %’s missingand this had happened before, for example maha’s blessing, why would a 3rd job buff give only 50 def/mdef? even the 1st job skill iron wall is better, so it may mean the skill is 50% def/mdef, also for evan’s magic shield, 10 hp, 15 def/mdef is useless, in the other hand 10% hp and 15% def/mdef sounds pretty nice as well as other skills like magic resistance and critical related skills, you’ll notice 40 mdef is useless compared to 40% mdef and critical damage and rate always measures in % an there isnt a % symbol on the skills.
    i respect that you posted us exactly what the translation you triple checked because if changed anything you would be bashed for if something was wrong.
    i apologize for being offensive, the fact you added the changes on delay makes your blog really special, more productively, i want to say, i’m supposing there are %’s missing in the translation, also there’s this new skill for evans to glide on dragon like demon slayers, it has been reconized as dragon flight/soar by other blogs and forums here it is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ct1XZJgiSLY
    that’s the only video i could find of that skill, i heard mech’s 3rd job siege mode is toggle on/off and the 4th job one still has cooldown, personally i don’t have a mech so i can’t tell if they even have a 4th job siege mode, i missinterpreted your idea of “lame” and yeah, i also was expecting more new skills, but change is pretty big.

    • Oh, I see. All I did was literally extract data from the WZ, I knew something was wrong there.
      Thanks for the info, and that’s a pretty sick skill that Evans got^^
      It’s coming out to KMS in two days so hopefully all those errors will be fixed.

  7. Hmmm… I see your point, but as an Evan player, I have to say I’m pretty happy with the speed buff, and I love how the new Magic Flare acts like a mini Genesis. Hee hee.

    I don’t think you mentioned that the Battle Mage’s Auras are now stackable; i.e. one BaM can have all three active. Their skill effects were also renewed, and now look more arcane.

    Evan/Mir’s Breath Skills also no longer have a charge time. I wonder if Big Bang will get the same treatment/be removed?

    While the changes were all pretty similar across the board, they do bring some interesting changes. I’m interested to see what they change between KMST and KMS.

    • they are revamping all the classes, not only mechs, Demon slayers and Merceedes were bandwagones so epically nexon had to either nerf them or buff everybody, they decided to buff, mechs stopped being overpowered a while ago, in fact they were overshadowed by a lot of other classes, by the time legend arrives, we will be all begging for this to come cause of merc and ds OPness

  8. This might have nothing to do with anything at all but the Von Leon Gear in GMS had the % missing in the set info box. Last time I checked was before legends but what it looked like was that the 6th set tier said 10 hp 10 mp…… it’s really 10% hp 10% mp

    The .wz isn’t the only place missing %’s

Hey shakar I was running into a lot of evans today, wondered why so read up on union, i see now, and i also am exited about ellin forest, do you know if you can kill that boss as many times as you want in a day or not? because it seems like it could be good exp if your a fast killer since so many people in lhc these days just familar hax and leech
