Well, it’s finally out to the real server. The 2nd part of Jump!, which is the **Awakening of the Order **update. I already told you about what happened in kMST, and the same thing happened in kMS. This update has brought:

- Mage Restructuring & other balancing
- 8th Anniversary
- Monster Park Updates
- More Events
- Other [painful] Changes

# Mage Restructuring

Just like in the first part, I’m NOT gonna post the differences yet. Why? Well, they will continuously change till Jump! is officially over. If you’ve seen the extractions, you can also see that Warriors’ skills were still changing. This change will keep going on till the official end so I don’t want to give you wrong info.

However, I can give you the background.

## Changes to All Mages

**Slow**‘s max level reduced from 20 to 10~- New Skill!
**High Wisdom**(2nd job):

Description: Through mental discipline, permanently increases your intelligence.

Level 1: INT + 4.

Level 2: INT + 8.

Level 3: INT + 12.

Level 4: INT + 16.

Level 5: INT + 20.

Level 6: INT + 24.

Level 7: INT + 28.

Level 8: INT + 32.

Level 9: INT + 36.

Level 10: INT + 40.

**Mana Reflection**was removed. To replace it, there’s a new skill!**Arcane Aim**(4th job):

Description: Permanently ignores your enemies’ defense and can get you synergy effect. When attacking a monster multiple times, synergy effect has a chance to increase your damage. You can only have up to 5 effects at once.

Level 1: Ignores 6% of enemies’ defense, For every 3 attacks there’s a 21% chance of increasing your damage by 2%. Maximum effects: 5.

Level 2: Ignores 6% of enemies’ defense, For every 3 attacks there’s a 22% chance of increasing your damage by 2%. Maximum effects: 5.

Level 3: Ignores 7% of enemies’ defense, For every 3 attacks there’s a 23% chance of increasing your damage by 2%. Maximum effects: 5.

Level 4: Ignores 7% of enemies’ defense, For every 3 attacks there’s a 24% chance of increasing your damage by 2%. Maximum effects: 5.

Level 5: Ignores 8% of enemies’ defense, For every 3 attacks there’s a 25% chance of increasing your damage by 3%. Maximum effects: 5.

Level 6: Ignores 8% of enemies’ defense, For every 3 attacks there’s a 26% chance of increasing your damage by 3%. Maximum effects: 5.

Level 7: Ignores 9% of enemies’ defense, For every 3 attacks there’s a 27% chance of increasing your damage by 3%. Maximum effects: 5.

Level 8: Ignores 9% of enemies’ defense, For every 3 attacks there’s a 28% chance of increasing your damage by 3%. Maximum effects: 5.

Level 9: Ignores 10% of enemies’ defense, For every 3 attacks there’s a 29% chance of increasing your damage by 3%. Maximum effects: 5.

Level 22: Ignores 16% of enemies’ defense, For every 3 attacks there’s a 42% chance of increasing your damage by 6%. Maximum effects: 5.

Level 23: Ignores 17% of enemies’ defense, For every 3 attacks there’s a 43% chance of increasing your damage by 6%. Maximum effects: 5.

Level 24: Ignores 17% of enemies’ defense, For every 3 attacks there’s a 44% chance of increasing your damage by 6%. Maximum effects: 5.

Level 25: Ignores 18% of enemies’ defense, For every 3 attacks there’s a 45% chance of increasing your damage by 7%. Maximum effects: 5.

Level 26: Ignores 18% of enemies’ defense, For every 3 attacks there’s a 46% chance of increasing your damage by 7%. Maximum effects: 5.

Level 27: Ignores 19% of enemies’ defense, For every 3 attacks there’s a 47% chance of increasing your damage by 7%. Maximum effects: 5.

Level 28: Ignores 19% of enemies’ defense, For every 3 attacks there’s a 48% chance of increasing your damage by 7%. Maximum effects: 5.

Level 29: Ignores 20% of enemies’ defense, For every 3 attacks there’s a 49% chance of increasing your damage by 7%. Maximum effects: 5.

Level 30: Ignores 20% of enemies’ defense, For every 3 attacks there’s a 50% chance of increasing your damage by 8%. Maximum effects: 5.

**Energy Bolt**[1st job]. **Magic Claw**can now attack upward [1st job].**Infinity**– Stance effect was added [4th job].**Buff Mastery**– Skill needs to be toggled on/off if you want the extra buff duration (M. ATT is still added if it’s off) [4th job].

## Fire/Poison Arch Mage

**Fire Demon**was moved from 4th job to 3rd job (and**Element Composition**was removed). To replace it, there’s a new skill!**Mist Eruption**(4th job):

Description: Permanently increases the Damage Over Time of the Poison Mist skill. In addition, you can use this skill to unleash a greater mist eruption on your enemies.

Skills Required: Poison Mist level 20 or above.

Level 1: Active Effects: MP Cost: 40, Damage: 297%, Attacks the enemy 5 times and has a 11% chance to ignore the enemy’s defense. When two or more monsters are affected by Damage Over Time, the damage will be increased by 6%. Mist covers up to 6 monsters.

Passive Effects: Poison Mist’s Damage Over Time increased by 182%.

Cooldown: 10 seconds.

Level 2: Active Effects: MP Cost: 40, Damage: 304%, Attacks the enemy 5 times and has a 12% chance to ignore the enemy’s defense. When two or more monsters are affected by Damage Over Time, the damage will be increased by 7%. Mist covers up to 6 monsters.

Passive Effects: Poison Mist’s Damage Over Time increased by 184%.

Cooldown: 10 seconds.

Level 3: Active Effects: MP Cost: 40, Damage: 311%, Attacks the enemy 5 times and has a 13% chance to ignore the enemy’s defense. When two or more monsters are affected by Damage Over Time, the damage will be increased by 8%. Mist covers up to 6 monsters.

Passive Effects: Poison Mist’s Damage Over Time increased by 186%.

Cooldown: 10 seconds.

Level 4: Active Effects: MP Cost: 40, Damage: 318%, Attacks the enemy 5 times and has a 14% chance to ignore the enemy’s defense. When two or more monsters are affected by Damage Over Time, the damage will be increased by 9%. Mist covers up to 6 monsters.

Passive Effects: Poison Mist’s Damage Over Time increased by 188%.

Cooldown: 10 seconds.

Level 5: Active Effects: MP Cost: 50, Damage: 325%, Attacks the enemy 5 times and has a 15% chance to ignore the enemy’s defense. When two or more monsters are affected by Damage Over Time, the damage will be increased by 10%. Mist covers up to 6 monsters.

Passive Effects: Poison Mist’s Damage Over Time increased by 190%.

Cooldown: 10 seconds.

Level 6: Active Effects: MP Cost: 50, Damage: 332%, Attacks the enemy 5 times and has a 16% chance to ignore the enemy’s defense. When two or more monsters are affected by Damage Over Time, the damage will be increased by 11%. Mist covers up to 6 monsters.

Passive Effects: Poison Mist’s Damage Over Time increased by 192%.

Cooldown: 10 seconds.

Level 7: Active Effects: MP Cost: 50, Damage: 339%, Attacks the enemy 5 times and has a 17% chance to ignore the enemy’s defense. When two or more monsters are affected by Damage Over Time, the damage will be increased by 12%. Mist covers up to 6 monsters.

Passive Effects: Poison Mist’s Damage Over Time increased by 194%.

Cooldown: 10 seconds.

Level 8: Active Effects: MP Cost: 50, Damage: 346%, Attacks the enemy 5 times and has a 18% chance to ignore the enemy’s defense. When two or more monsters are affected by Damage Over Time, the damage will be increased by 13%. Mist covers up to 6 monsters.

Passive Effects: Poison Mist’s Damage Over Time increased by 196%.

Level 12: Active Effects: MP Cost: 60, Damage: 374%, Attacks the enemy 5 times and has a 22% chance to ignore the enemy’s defense. When two or more monsters are affected by Damage Over Time, the damage will be increased by 17%. Mist covers up to 6 monsters.

Passive Effects: Poison Mist’s Damage Over Time increased by 204%.

Passive Effects: Poison Mist’s Damage Over Time increased by 232%.

Level 27: Active Effects: MP Cost: 90, Damage: 479%, Attacks the enemy 5 times and has a 37% chance to ignore the enemy’s defense. When two or more monsters are affected by Damage Over Time, the damage will be increased by 32%. Mist covers up to 6 monsters.

Passive Effects: Poison Mist’s Damage Over Time increased by 234%.

Cooldown: 10 seconds.

Level 28: Active Effects: MP Cost: 90, Damage: 486%, Attacks the enemy 5 times and has a 38% chance to ignore the enemy’s defense. When two or more monsters are affected by Damage Over Time, the damage will be increased by 33%. Mist covers up to 6 monsters.

Passive Effects: Poison Mist’s Damage Over Time increased by 236%.

Cooldown: 10 seconds.

Level 29: Active Effects: MP Cost: 90, Damage: 493%, Attacks the enemy 5 times and has a 39% chance to ignore the enemy’s defense. When two or more monsters are affected by Damage Over Time, the damage will be increased by 34%. Mist covers up to 6 monsters.

Passive Effects: Poison Mist’s Damage Over Time increased by 238%.

Cooldown: 10 seconds.

Level 30: Active Effects: MP Cost: 100, Damage: 500%, Attacks the enemy 5 times and has a 40% chance to ignore the enemy’s defense. When two or more monsters are affected by Damage Over Time, the damage will be increased by 35%. Mist covers up to 6 monsters.

Passive Effects: Poison Mist’s Damage Over Time increased by 240%.

Cooldown: 10 seconds.

**Partial Resistance**was removed. To replace it, there’s a new skill!**Extreme Magic (Water, Poison)**(3rd job):

Description: When attacking an enemy in the state of frozen, darkness, stunned, paralyzed,or damaged over time, damage increases.

Level 1: Damage increased by 1% for 5 seconds.

Level 2: Damage increased by 1% for 5 seconds.

Level 3: Damage increased by 2% for 5 seconds.

Level 4: Damage increased by 2% for 6 seconds.

Level 5: Damage increased by 3% for 6 seconds.

Level 6: Damage increased by 3% for 6 seconds.

Level 7: Damage increased by 4% for 6 seconds.

Level 8: Damage increased by 4% for 7 seconds.

Level 9: Damage increased by 5% for 7 seconds.

Level 10: Damage increased by 5% for 7 seconds.

Level 11: Damage increased by 6% for 7 seconds.

Level 12: Damage increased by 6% for 8 seconds.

**Big Bang**– Damage Over Time added, amount of enemies hit decreased (10 -> 6). New effect: [4th job]

## Ice/Lightning Arch Mage

**Ice Demon**was moved from 4th job to 3rd job (and**Element Composition**was removed). To replace it, there’s a new skill!**Glacial Chain**(4th job):

Description: Unleash your cold chain to drag the enemy towards you and give him a cold, fatal damage. Your enemy will be frozen, and in addition its defense may be ignored.

Level 1: MP Cost: 45, Attacks up to 12 monsters with a 334% damage 4 times, Damage Over Time: 77% every 1 second, Has a 11% chance of ignoring the enemy’s defnese, Freezes the enemy for 3 seconds.

Cooldown: 5 seconds

Level 2: MP Cost: 45, Attacks up to 12 monsters with a 338% damage 4 times, Damage Over Time: 79% every 1 second, Has a 12% chance of ignoring the enemy’s defnese, Freezes the enemy for 3 seconds.

Cooldown: 5 seconds

Level 3: MP Cost: 45, Attacks up to 12 monsters with a 342% damage 4 times, Damage Over Time: 81% every 1 second, Has a 13% chance of ignoring the enemy’s defnese, Freezes the enemy for 3 seconds.

# 8th Anniversary

**Happy Birthday KMS!** For turning 8, we get an event! Yay~

The event is basically composed of **8 missions**.

The first thing you get from Cassandra is the **8th Anniversary Diary**:

If you double click it, you can see all the missions you completed/will complete:

That will help you keep track of what you need to do, because you have a choice of quests to do.

**So what are the missions?**

Quests from Cassandra (), Gaga (), and Maple Admin ().

However, you will turn them into one of those NPC’s:

You will choose your NPC, which will be a ‘fan’ of, whether it’s the Pirate, Aran, or Cygnus. Their real names are Valerie, Lilin, and Cygnus. But I’m just going to call them Pirate, Aran, and Cygnus. Personally, I picked the Pirate. Aside from being a pirate, I like the reward of the pirate more than the others~

Balloons! And oh my gosh, I LOVE BLUE!!!

The balloons are capes, and you can get them if you get **30 Rising Stars**. I’ll explain what that means below, but for now, look at its awesome stats:

Unfortunately, though, it’s for a limited time and cannot be extended.

The NPC’s are found in the following map, which can be accessed through **Dimensional Mirror**:

Don’t worry, if you choose one that you don’t like, you can always change it through Cassandra.

The second tab of the diary is the Rising Stars record, and it contains some interesting stuff. Contains all the info about all the NPC’s, and how many hits they got.

The things I found funniest are at the top, the age and their job. The Pirate’s and the Aran’s age are both 16! And the Cygnus’s age is unknown. The pirate’s job is to annoy the Nautilus, the Aran’s job is being a Penguins’ Captain, and the Cygnus’s job is simply being an Empress…

Back on topic, it shows you how many hits she got this week for the following:

- Vocal
- Instruments
- Dance
- Appearance
- Popularity
- Reputation

To increase those ‘hits,’ which are really the Rising Stars that, as I said above, are needed for the balloon cape. **How do you get them?**

By completing each mission you’ll get a Rising Star. Each thing on your first tab are **‘exercises,’** which are also increased by doing the missions. There are **10 exercises**, and 6 of them are quests. I’ll discuss the quests first and at the end the last 4.

Notes:

- You can only do
**one mission at the time**with the exception of the Dance quest. - You can only get
**1 Exercise per day**. - Each quest’s reward is
**10 Maple Leaves**.

- All quests can be done multiple times a day. However, you won’t get any exercises. You’ll still get Rising Stars, though.

### Vocal

For this mission, the Maple Admin will ask you to get ‘your 7 talks.’ You can get them from ANY monster around the Maple World that’s **no more than 10 levels lower/higher than you unless you are level 150+**.** **

The first one is given.

It should be very easy. In no time, you should get them all.

*Do-Re-Mi-Fa-Sol-La-Si-Do*

Go back to the NPC and finish the quest. Along with 10 Maple Leaves, you’ll get one **Vocal Exercise**:

### Instruments

Same thing as the previous one, just get everything from monsters in the Maple world with the same restrictions (can’t be more than 10 levels lower/higher than you unless you are level 150+).

You will get one **Instrument Exercise**:

### Dance

Gaga will give you a camera in your Set-up inventory. He’ll ask you to hold it for **30 minutes**.

After 30 minutes, go back talk to your NPC and you’ll get 10 Maple Leaves and a **Dance Exercise** point:

### Appearance

In this quest, Cassandra will give you a Calorie Consumption Meter and ask you to kill 200 monsters of your level range.

Should be fairly easy~ Once you’re done, **return to Cassandra** (not the NPC). You’ll get an **Appearance Exercise**:

### Popularity

Gaga will give you a quest to get a Love Candy from any monster no more than 10 levels lower/higher than you unless you’re 150+ blah blah blah. Always the same thing…

You shouldn’t get it right away, but it’s still really easy to get. Once you get it, return to your NPC. You’ll get a **Popularity Exercise**:

### Reputation

Cassandra wants you to get film of your NPC that was taken by a paparazzi. To do that, you’ll need to fight the **Star Paparazzi**:

You can find it in many maps (The one above is the second map of Edelstein, and I also hunted them in the first map of Herb town), and it has a high spawn rate on every channel. I hunted them in hope of getting something good, but I discovered that they don’t drop anything. AT ALL.

The fight is pretty easy, you have a set damage of 88,888 and the monster has 6,666,666 HP.

*Papa Papa Papa Paparazzi~*

Not too bad. Once you kill it, it’ll drop your tape.

Return it to your NPC and you’ll get 1 **Reputation Exercise**:

Yay you’ll get your Rising Stars~ In just an hour, I got this much:

**What’s the point of all this?**

It’s a competition, to see who’s better. By getting Rising Stars, you’re supporting your NPC. Currently, this is the chart:

The chart shows the Rising Stars of each NPC from everyone participating in that event, and the placement is based on popularity (second to last).

Cygnus is in first place with 5 cubes of popularity. Pirate is right behind her with 3 cubes, and after her is Aran with two cubes. NOOOOOOO (wait, I’m a Thunder Breaker, I’m a Cygnus myself… And I also have a Dawn Warrior, a Cygnus Knight as well… -what-). Oh well…

**Wait, but how do you get those coins?**

You trade them to the Maple Administrator. **One hundred Maple Leaves = 1 coin**.

**So many leaves! How do I get them?**

Let me start off by saying that the ones you had from last year are no good. The 8th Anniversary Maple Leaves are completely different items. The only ways of getting leaves are:

- Monsters, they drop it. Also, bosses drop a bunch~

- Anniversary quests – You get 10 per quest.
- Leveling up – According to your level, you’ll get Maple Leaves.
- Every week there’s a ‘party’ in that map and you can get coins for free.
- Buying from FM.

**Mmm… You said something about Palrakjoui Feathers…**

Yep, I didn’t mention that it’s named after the boss **Palrakjoui**.

Level 15

Why do we care about a dumb boss that gives no EXP? Well, you’ll like his drops~

Chance to drop the **Palrakjoui Feathers** scroll and the **Palrakjoui Shiny Feathers** scroll. It also has a set damage of 88,888, just like

**Star Paparazzi.**

What is the Palrakjoui Shiny Feathers scroll? You can’t use it directly,but when you use it with a Palrakjoui Feathers scroll, it will work at **100% chance**.

Cool right? Unfortunately, in my timezone the time it spawns at is midnight, so I can’t kill it. Oh well, no chance of getting the set in the first place anyway.

**Wait, but what about the weapons?**

You can only get it from an **8th Anniverary Box**.

The 8th Anniversary Box has a low drop rate from any monster in the Maple World. When you open it, you have a chance of getting a weapon of the Beryl set or some Maple Leaves.

Another thing called the **Maple Liter Member Gift Box**. Don’t know what that is yet, but you get:

**Wait, but there are 10 missions and you only showed us 6!**

Yep, I didn’t want to confuse you. As I said earlier, 6 of them are quests (which I described) that are related to the Rising Stars and the other 4 are not.

Should be pretty obvious.

*Top-Left*= Use ascroll.**Palrakjoui Feathers**- Top-Right = Kill
**Palrakjoui**. *Bottom-Left*= Ride a mushroom (use a mushroom mount, also note that you only need to do it once).*Bottom-Right*= Raise the**Mini Maple Bonsai**8 times (described in the ‘more events’ section).

# Monster Park Updates

As promised in the 1st part, the monster park was updated. Instead of being 13~120 (really, 13~95), **it’s now available for all levels**!

Therefore, the second door was updated.

It used to be up to 95, now it’s up to 120 (click to enlarge).

The 3rd door only said ‘Coming Soon,’ now it’s for everyone 120+:

**TIP: If you’re level 120+, you can go to ANY PQ IN THAT DOOR!**

No wonder I started getting ticket pieces~ Now there’s a Monster Carnival PQ level-appropriate for me.

Everyone below 120 need the same tickets I discussed in my part 1 guide. However, people above 120 need a different one:

You get one for free as an event blah blah.

What’s interesting is the new rewards. Instead of Spiegelmann trading the ‘stache/autograph, **Raku** is the one selling them.

What’s this? New rewards?! YAY!

The first thing is that box up top, the **Spiegelmann’s Badge** box, for 30 coins. When you open it, you get a random **Spiegelmann’s Badge**!

There are 3 badges: ** Spiegelmann’s Bronze Badge**, **Spiegelmann’s Silver Badge**, and **Spiegelmann’s Gold Badge**. They’re all time limited, require to be level 10+, and have no real stats in the WZ. I’m guessing the stats are random when you get them from the box… I’ll try to get a box and confirm it…

Next thing is the mount at the real bottom, **Spiegelmann’s Hot Air Ballon (7 days)**.

*Double-click Spiegelmann’s hot air ballon ride is the skill you can use for seven days.*

Cool, so basically get 70 coins and trade them for a 7-day mount of Spiegelmann!

**ALSO REMEMBER: Since the PQ is now available for levels 120+, you can get equips for 120+ with a 100% rate of potential!**

## Mini Maple Bonsai

A cute little thing called the **Mini Maple Bonsai** was released for you to help it grow.

All you have to do is just feed it with ETC items/equips.

I’m not really bothering to feed it, I wouldn’t get anything special anyway. If you’re lucky, you can get:

# Other Changes

- Ellin Forest, Neo City, and Future Henesys got nerf’ed. Not only did the party bonus get removed, but the monsters are no longer bosses. Let’s look at Mossy Snail for example:

**The only place with party bonus now is Monster Park.**
