KMST v.1.2.429 ~ Mage Revamp

So, after weeks of NO updates, another revamp came to KMST. This time it was for magicians, AGAIN. I also see data for a bowman revamp, and from the pictures above you can tell that the Resistance and Cygnus Knights will get a revamp. Ugh, MORE REVAMPS.

Nexon is really running out of ideas, and that’s kind of sad. Also to be released later on today is the GMS anniversary update, which I’ll probably post tomorrow or in two days (12-hour patch, yep).

Anyway, let’s start with the skill changes. No new skills, just Nexon moving around the variables and calling it a revamp +_+…

Damage Increased by 10% (120% at max level -> 130% at max level).
Amount of Enemies Hit Increased (3 -> 4).

5-second cooldown added (although, I think Nexon made a mistake).

And, of course, all the events relating to the revamp are the same as always.

Also, PvP is coming really soon with a new mode, Hardcore Mode! Several quests were added, along with a new action name called “pvpko2”. Funny, so that’s what the “hc” stood for in all those “hcCooldown” variables.

I might extract the maps later (if there are any, didn’t check). For now, enjoy these pictures!

In case you’re wondering, the things it says are: The number of defeated, number of fallen, number of invitations (?), number of gallant emblems, and EXP.

Mhm, actually, the rest of the pictures are like the normal PvP. More duplicates, yay.

It seems like a PQ that basically gives away Gallant Emblems. Also, note: there’s a “catch” animation, so I’m guessing you have to catch things or people.

And, not related to PvP but Nexon ID’s will be able to be made in-game. In-game registration, about time. It’s not out yet, but tons of data relating to the registration process were added.

New Cash Shop items were added! The owl weapon (which always reminds me of XgrantwallX from MapleTimes.tk for some reason) and the cute demon pets that were added a little while ago to GMS:

I like them. I like the owl also.

And speaking of hitting, they changed the HP bar:

When you hit a monster, the bar becomes red and then the red slowly fades.

Well, that’s all for now. What a patch, however, don’t you agree?

  1. i’d be pissed if they redid the whole thing with Jump (except no new skills) and then waited a long time to raise %s for thieves and pirates

  2. Can anyone help me? I live in NY and wanna make a Mercedes and i dnt know when they are coming back or at least available :3 Please respond and thankxs 😀

    • They actually have an event RIGHT now in GMS, where you will be able to make one Legends character for a limited amount of time (your Mercedes) per account.
      So go make one!

      You’ll see a button upon Character Selection screen on the bottom saying so.

  3. How can they be out of ideas? There’s still the Pirate hero, other Captain Knights (unless this is the premise for the Oz class), and the thief resistance.

    Unless they just can’t think of any good ideas for those 3 (and GMS getting to make one of them according to the GM blog)

  4. Why does Nexon keep with these revamps that only mess with variables? Nexon is basicly runing out of ideas… They should consider to bring back a bit of old maple… Harder to level, more places to train, harder to explore and that stuff… I loved how Victoria Island was before BB… Hate how it is now… Towns were bigger… Alot of equal NPCs in everytown like PQ portol, Socket master (in GMS), Gachapon, Cassandra, Gaga, Maple Admon, the PvP Dude… They should be in a different map in each town… Give each town a back story… Maple has alot of potential and should be revised… Instead characters are being created out of nowhere and the Maple Community is basicly rulled by hackers and overpowered characters that only use NX… I think BB and the other updates were great, but Nexon should consider revising it and bring a bit of the original maple essence back!
