KMST v.1.2.427 ~ Warrior Revamp

Nexon broke its rule, and instead of releasing this update on Thursday, they released it today (Friday). I haven’t been negative in a while, but it’s pretty lame. Only 1 new skill which they already showed us, and the rest is just crap. Ugh, hopefully they’ll make more changes before it comes out to the real server.

Anyway, I’ll be going over the skill changes first~

Damage Increased by 20% (280% at max level -> 300% at max level).

That’s all for the skill changes. And some other changes:

  • Spiegelmann’s Strange Gallery rewards improved (the stats are better).
  • If a character has any locked items, it cannot be deleted.
  • Made scrolls easier to read, lists their stats in the description.

  • ^OMG is KMS getting Targa/Scarlion (Remember, KMS doesn’t have CBD)?!

  • Weddings? What the hell is going on with KMS, copying GMS content now?
  • A sheep pet was added:

And yeah, that’s actually all for this update. And guess what? The same lame events that come with every revamp came on this one.

Features~

  2. i think that MS is getting to the point where having warrior revamps isnt going to make people happy and if there not going to release a new class or new area/town every “big” patch, they shouldnt even bother… oh and taking dawn warriors and giving them 80 more levels and like 2 new skills and calling it a “new class” doesnt really suffice.

  3. I wonder if Nexon is going to keep changing skills.

    At least one can say Maple is always updating. It’s a plus when compared to many other MMOs. I just wish they would lean on better content.

    -Passive- Can now Stack 3 Charges instead of 2.

  5. Lame revamp is lame. Sure, it statistically buffs existing skills slightly. However, the existing skills lack utility. Warriors still have to wait until 4th job for rush and stance. They still don’t have mobility. They’re not the lightning bruisers they should be, considering they still have to get up within raep range to actually do damage. Strength alone wasn’t the problem. It’s that warriors were and still are boring as hell to play. They need a Justice style revamp like thieves and pirates, with a slew of new skills that actually make them fun and useful. Arans need a DF-style combo meter and assignable skills. Slayers need to be twice as strong, going from around 3k% Tang Power to around 6-7k% Tang Power, which would put them on par with Heroes BEFORE this revamp buffs them to be even better.

    Suffice it to say, I am disappoint. They still haven’t made up for the major mistake that was nerfing Slayers, which had 4.5k% Tang Power, to bottom tier in the same patch they buff Dits and Sairs to OVER SEVEN THOUSAAAAAAND percent Tang Power and release Phantom with around 8k% Tang Power, all while Evans had around 8-9k% Tang Power since part 2 of Union. It was the only fun warrior class, and now it’s utter crap. Instead, they just give the existing warriors some steroids and call it a day. This is an outrage, mostly because it’s new content devoid of new content. They better not nerf Mikhail, as warriors need at least 1 top tier damage dealer to make up for the epic suck of all 6 other warriors.

    • I wouldn’t hole heartly agree with changing the warrior class completely. But i do agree with u on them being boring. I myself have a drk that has max speed since i have decent haste, but, my brother has a lvl 8x drk and he has the hardest time ever.

      even training at roids proves to be a challenege because he gets hit ever time he tries to walk past them to create a bigger mob. he’s at a real disadvantage because honestly, it takes him 20-30 seconds just to get to the other side of the map! in writting, it may not sound long to most, but it is LONG! most class can cover the roid map in 2-3 seconds top!

      My purpose is for nexon to do this: Simpily, move stance, rush, and monster magnet down to 2nd and 3rd job. Rush and Monster magnet should be in 2nd jump, to help push and pull mobs around. stance should be in 3rd job since platforms are getting smaller and the area is getting bigger. it’s such a drag to climb up, only to have to fall down with such low mobility!

      I honestly think that with these skills being moved around will greatly make the warrior class more enjoyable and more compariable to other classes. As you said, warrior’s have damage, but lack speed. It’s pointless to make someone so strong when its so hard for them to hit the monsters – thus making the warrior class extremely boring when compared to other classes.

      And the thing about these skill change is that nexon does not even have to buff warriors! it balances itself! why? Because these were already skills that we have. But they are just moved down a few jobs to make them into more practical uses! This also does not make warriors into speed demons like Mercs! Nope, it just makes the warrior class more manageable in earlier level. I think that is by far reasonable in every respect. I mean, seriously, its not like im asking for Flash Jump+flying+teleport skill.

      Plus! it just makes darn sense to move rush, monster magnet, and stance down a few job advances. This way, these skills can be actually used throughout the whole exisitence of the warrior class. I mean, most warriors don’t even level up Monster magnet til their late 17x-18x. it’s a usefull skill, but no one does it because other skills takes prioity, which is sad because it has so much potential just like the other two skills.

  6. I kinda share the pessimism going around. even Mihile didnt get me excited. Maple needs to step it up. At this point I don’t think that pirate legend and thief resistance character is gonna be that exciting.

    • agreed, those are the only new classes im looking forward to and they keep delaying them for crap like this and Mikhail… Mikhail!?!?!? that was the dumbest thing they’ve done yet. Why diddnt they just give cygnus knights an additional 80 levels instead of just making a different dawn warrior and pretending its a new class.

  7. Mikhail wasn’t dumb or stupid. It was a step in the right direction for warriors. They’re supposed to rush in and decimate everything. They’re WARRIORS, battle freaks, those who thrive on the art of asskickery. Which is why it’s terrible that this update is so bland. It does little, if anything, to make adventurer warriors more like Slayers and Mikhail.

  8. Beneficial adjustments out of nowhere? Let’s shoot it down because it doesn’t work the way we want it to!

    …All jokes aside, it seems as though they’re planning on going down the list and adjusting all the adventurer classes. It’s Jump 2.0! Oz+Mage adjustments or Irene+Bowman adjustments to be expected in the following month :p

  9. At least Hero’s-to-be won’t have to deal with DAMN POWER STRIKE and SLASH BLAST until level 70. 😀

    It was starting to get annoying, really. :3

    • They never had to spam slash blast or power strike, there was ground strike. And other warriors don’t get anything for 2nd job.

    • Wz. UI.wz/UIWindow2.img/MobGage/Mob/8145200. Basically, they store images of what the gauge would look like for each boss in UI.wz (Nexon: Gage == Gauge). Soo, in the most recent patch they added Scarlion’s & Targa’s images.
      Not many extract UI.wz so that’s probably why you didn’t hear about it.

  10. y dun wan change paladin skill !!?? nexon should delete paladin blast and add a new skill “Hyper ChargeBlow” hit 6 enemies, hit five time ! need enchament 4 element skill only can active and add one more new passive skill “Hyper Element” can enchament up to 4 element like can use fire charge , lightning charge, ice charge and holy charge stack together! and the charge blow change to second job hit 3 enemies and 2 hit and it is neutral element no need any element to active ! the advanced charge change to 3rd job hit 4 enemies , 4 time hit! that what i wan about paladin revamp!

  11. New update, Alliance Eternal is hitting GMS. More lol skill changes and lolparty revamps. Might be good though, haven’t played it yet since I don’t think it is out.
