GMS v.1.07 ~ Alliance Unbound!

I came home a little late today, and when I came back the servers were down -_-. It’s kind of regular now to see GMS down after every patch.

Anyway, the patch was exactly what I thought it would be and I was right, Masteria Expansion is pretty lame.

GMS Exclusive – NLC Expansion

[Click to enlarge and view the lame animation]

And here’s the lame GMS exclusive content, Masteria Expansion.

[NEW NLC MAPS, CLICK HERE!]

I already gave you the background, pretty much what they described.

[youtube:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4c6gomv_FVo%5D

First, you have to be level 90+. Accept the quest from the mayor of NLC and you’ll be sent to NLC. Then, you’ll have to do dumb quests to find who is causing the earthquakes.

The sad part is that there aren’t too many new maps because they simply redesigned NLC to make it look ruined.

Lame aliens attacking NLC. The mayor will give you a couple of annoying and repetitive quests to sabotage their devices and rescue citizens.

At one point, you get caught. However, you’re able to sweet-talk the guard into letting you leave. He wants to be an actor, LOL.

The reason the aliens came to NLC, if you recall, was for Lianium Ores. Therefore, you have to steal all of their ores. But they catch you~

So, you’re in that suit and you just have to escape. You only need to kill like 1 or 2 aliens to get the key to leave, and killing them is pretty easy. Press CTRL to deal 2,200 damage 4 times on one monster, or space to deal 1,200 damage 4 times on multiple monsters.

Later on, the mayor wants you to defeat the Galacto-Drill. To enter the Galacto-Drill, you have to walk all the way past the 6th corridor to enter this elevator, and you have to kill the aliens till you get an ID card.

The Galacto-Drill has REALLY low HP, but the damage is ridiculous. His attacks deal 8~15k damage! That’s why I can’t defeat him, I keep dying -_-.

If you die, you’re sent back all the way to the entrance of the corridors. You can only enter up to 5 times a day.

Aside from that, many of the Crimsonwood Keep quests were removed, and some maps were fixed. Phantom Forest was ruined, it’s no longer a maze and Bigfoot/Headless Horseman/Typhoons were removed. You can’t enter the Big Ben either.

UPDATE IN A NUTSHELL: MASTERIA WAS DESTROYED.

Alien Socket System

Do you like the potential/enhancement systems? Well, you’re going to love this. In every town, you can find the NPC Bo:

Ask him to drill a socket into your equipment. He’s doing it for free till the next patch~

When it’s drilled, your item will have a square on the top left:

Now you’re ready to mount a Nebulite on your equipment. You can get a Nebulite from Pico’s shop:

You need to buy the Nebulites for Alien Coins, which I’m guessing are from NLC quests. You can also get the Nebulites from monsters.

When you get a Nebulite, you can either upgrade it or apply it to your equipment. If you ever want to reset its stats, you’ll need to purchase an Alien Cube from Cash Shop:

Opening one will give you an Alien Diffuser Fragment. If you get 10 of those, you can get 1 Nebulite Diffuser, which basically removes a Nebulite from an item.

And the buffs you can get are:

Well, that’s all. YOU BETTER NOT COMPLAIN ABOUT ME BEING NEGATIVE, 75 COMMENTS IN THE TRASH FUUUUU.

Just stop it, it doesn’t make you any cooler and nobody will get to read it anyway. If you don’t like my negativity, leave.

But, you have to admit that this is pretty lame. Terrible exclusive contents.

  1. I personally thought the exclusive content looks good at a glance. Sure I know the socket system is a way to get your to spend more money and that there will likely be some exploits people will find out. I am not gonna let any of it bother me however.

For me, nexon outdid what I was expecting for the new content (of course I won’t know for sure until I try it firsthand.)

      • Yea the quests are really awful. I’m so disappointed i decided to post how much they suck here.

      • Shakar96 sence your smart and everything i waana say that i made a wild hunter and i dont like it cause when it hits 4th job it only has wild aero blast witch is the best move and i want a class with more mobility skils and alot of damage so should i make a aran instead cause i see they got a second revamp and became even stronger so help me make up my mind .

      • okay I just finished the questline

While the quests are currently immature and way too simplistic and take less than an hour to complete, I see potential that Nexon COULD do with the questline. I think they rushed the release way too much and if they just worked on it for a longer period of time it would come out better. I am hoping they do a Masteria revamp of the revamp to fine tune the quests and maybe make them more challenging. The elevator was good imo, but the boss (esp killing it 300 times) needs work.

  2. Shakar
I hOnestly think you’re over reacting

I think nexon did an awesome job re doing nlc for the alien invasion
It keeps things fresh and atleast they created the context themselves
IMO you’re just bashing everything u can find
I realize this is you’re blog and u have the right to state your opinion, but you might me going too far
I had fun doing all the quests and the dialogue with the aliens was fun
So maybe u need to realize that it isn’t all bad
    Not hating you
Just asking you to rethink what you keep saying

    • the dialogue was BORING and REPETITIVE (they just copy pasted the same thing over and over again) and all the quests were BORING and LAME

    • The New NLC is terrible. The quests are extremely glitched and the actual dialogue is crap I’d find at Gaia; shit filled jokes that middle school students would find funny. I found myself thinking if Maple was turning into the bought out shit Gaia is now; remade memes and media filled Ads being shoved down one’s throat in attempt to dish out a few cheap laughs.

Instead of expanding Krakian Jungle, Affluent Tower, Versal World or Crimson Wood Keep they took the shit road and decided to literally annihilate the shit out of Masteria so they wouldn’t have to worry of all the possible expansions left by NXProse. What was once a well respected Exclusive Content built by Nexon NA is now an extremely lame quest line.

Shakar has every right to sound negative with the New NLC. The old NLC had extremely good potential to be the best content in game but Nexon NA gone -don-effed it up.

      • That’s your opinion
Most people I talked to at nlc likes what they were seeing
Ad all I was saying was Shakar is lately bashing EVERYTHING

      • NLC was alot better before than it is now, theres no thrill anymore, what you’re saying is very true to what we’re geting

    • I’ve been negative all year. Now, people finally notice it because of that Nightcodex dude.
Seriously, just look back at all the posts with the book/other dumb events.
And NLC sucks, tell your friends to keep doing the quests. Repetitive and boring. Nice try, though, Nexon.

  3. Nexon NA’s viewpoint of an expansion: Blow up a town and redesign maps to be very limited (especially for quests), then add a few monsters and a few maps.
If anything that’s more like a revamp.

Totally ridiculous, especially that alien drill boss being on par with Pink Bean. -_-

This is the FOURTH alien invasion we’ve had (Omega Sector, Crimsonwood Keep, Visitor Event, now this). We don’t need any more.

If anything, I was expecting a portal to Versal being opened.

    • The drill isn’t on par with pink bean, you just have to hug it while you’re attacking.
It seemed more like a nerf to a once great area

  4. They still haven’t fixed the Evan quests for older Evans. I still can’t do the Alliance quests… And no one has answered my ticket…

  5. I find the New Exclusive mounts really cool, especially the Ship, Dinosaur and the bain + gerekter’s pet?

So basically Nebulite is kinda like an extra line to your equip? Does it the item rarity
( rare, epic, unique, legend ) affects it stats?

  6. Is It just me or does the attack for mech at 3rd Jon change u into a machine gun type thing turn off omits own?
Isn’t is suppose to be toggle on and off?
Any one else have this issue?

      • ahhh sweet Thnxx Shakar i was rather confused! But thats perfect because my gf and all the ppl in kradia are lacking female hb for all now with this i can get my gf HB! ❤

  7. 3 reasons why i like this blog:
    1. gMS AND kMS
    2. You’re a lot like me (i’m negative, you’re negative, we’re all negative, yayyyyy)
    3. He bashes on gMS for good reasons.

It’s not like it’s even hard to find a good reason, but still.

  8. Shakar I think for the cape and glove for the ghost ship pq, the glove has the 1 att, and cape doesn’t because when nexon listed it on their update notes they stated the cape was a glove equip and glove a cape equip and I think they switched the info.

  9. Shakar96 sence your smart and everything i waana say that i made a wild hunter and i dont like it cause when it hits 4th job it only has wild aero blast witch is the best move and i want a class with more mobility skils and alot of damage so should i make a aran instead cause i see they got a second revamp and became even stronger so help me make up my mind :D.

  10. Pingback: v107 Alliance Unbound! Resistance,Aran,Evan Revamp; PQ Revamps | imeteolegend

  11. i think they kinda did a good job. at least they fixed obsidian armor for demon slayer. but the quest is kinda boring. mostly the alien quest at NLC. does anyone know when will the justice patch hit GMS?… because i saw the new skills for pirates and will they give an sp reset for the over lvl 70 pirates to change there skills for the patch?

  12. Can anyone tell me if i should stay on my wild hunter or just make a aran cause they gotten stronger and they have more moblitiy moves so i need someone to make up my mind.

  13. Shakar i really love ur posts xD QUestion tho! my bl made very good points is nlc aka masteria expansion perma? cuz some one said that errr they have a hyper tele rock and they can go to evil dead and theres a bigfoot in there and he can go to all the nlc old maps in phantom forest aka twisted paths and all those old maps<3 So what im asking is are u sure this is a perma thing or is it just an event? He said this is an event and then nlc goes back to normal? O_O i dont think nexon america would go through all this just for an event! Lol but then again… how are ppl supposed to get typhoon feathers for making raven gear from the npc at dead mans gorge these are all very interesting things and i hope u take a look at this :] tell me your thoughts! My thoughts are there still working on MASTERIA maybee we have hope for nexon america maybee future masteria content soon? 😀 cuz bigger ben is broken and all of nlc is hell atm :[ thats my thought!

      • ahh Alrighty Shakar thnxx thats what i figured! and yeaa i hope it gets revamped again i love the town! and aliens expasnion are the only 2 things they made better! :] BUT as for the phantom forest its a wreck its horrible! -_- they need fix that and bigger ben being broken needs fixing too! :]

  14. I tried looking at your website in my ipod touch and the layout does not seem to be correct. Might want to check it out on WAP as well as it seems most cell phone layouts are not working with your site.
