For a short little while, there were no updates in KMS/KMST. Only a couple of lame events were added, but nothing major.

The silence finally broke today when a new patch came, the one that we already knew would come in November; the Warrios/Mages/Archers, Cygnus Knights, and Ultimate Explorers revamps! Unfortunately, I can’t test anything because I didn’t get accepted into KMST :(. Oh well, nothing to test anyway, really.

I anticipate this update will hit KMS on November 18th. That’s when the Halloween events end, so I think that’s the date alright. Don’t kill me if it’s not, though :P.

Let’s move on to the skill changes! I also have a surprise for you at the end…

  1. Somehow I knew that they were going to add soul rush to all warriors -_-

    I know that I shouldn’t be complaining about a useful skill, but I created a crusader with the intention of having low mobility but insane power. I LIKE the concept of having pros and cons for classed, it made me feel unique T_T

  2. That’s… kind of ridiculous..
    Sooo, they made Heroes even stronger, Paladins will still complain because they hit one mob for max damage 3 times, but slow as crap, Wind piercing now ABSORBS HP?! And what’s with mage ultimates…? Interesting revamps these people come up with xD

    I understand the Cygnus Knights, Its great!!!
    and Ultimate Adventurers revamp is nice,
    but another Warriors, Mages, and Archers revamp?????
    whats the point???? showing that all jobs got revamped in this patch?????
    I think its kinda stupid.

  4. Wow really BM’s get their Hurricane boosted ( main skill) and MM’s just get Snipe boosted.. thats not even their main skill…

  5. Really, that’s it? Just slightly increased damage for mages? Mist Eruption is the last skill that needs a damage increase; you barely have to fund an F/P to hit the max damage for that skill already. Why are they intent on keeping F/Ps the “slow but powerful” class when it didn’t work with Evans?

    Big Bang still exists…does Nexon even know anything about their game? :/ That skill is useless and needs to be removed. Hopefully the second part of this revamp will be worth it.

    i know the number of hits went up so the total went up but….. 900 > 800

    I’d ask on SP but… y’know… being banned is annoying. :\

      • Me and Eos had a series of… disagreements.
        Incidentally, I had 3, 2 week old appeals for infractions (that weren’t infraction-worthy) that hadn’t been responded to when I was banned.
        Can’t help thinking Eos leaned on Mira, but I can never know.
        Long story short, banned until the 16th.

    • it’ll be really dumb if nexon announces the arrival of the thief legend and then on the day of release they say “oh we’re just changing the dual blades into legends” that would be severely dissappointing.

  9. Seriously, I hope this is improved. Once again adventurer magicians are getting the butt monkey. What about an update to MG? How about MP Eater which is pretty much useless? MP Eater worked better before Big Bang than it does now! AND WHAT THE HELL IS WITH BLIZZARD? I HOPE THIS IS A TYPO IN THE CODE ON NEXON’S PART.

  10. Shakar my DB (NOT A UA) did the lunar dew quest and nameless darkness quest(x3) and im sorta “part ua” with the skills Cygnus Might and Vampire(Lvl3). Im just wondering if there is any way to get the summons (Eckh’s Darkness) with my db :3 ty ❤

  11. So… for UAs, they keep their CK skill (like Oz’s Flame Gear and Hawk Eye’s Sharkwave) and get the CK spirit skills? And it’s max level is obtained at lv200, correct?

      • Oh, ok. and for the max level thing, 1 skill point is added every 15 levels, so then if you get it at lv 50, then it’l be lv1. 65 for 2, 80 for 3 and so on. Following the pattern, to get the lv10 spirit, you’d need to be lv200, right?

      • UE’s start a level 50, so every 15 levels they get 1 more point in the summon skill.

        50 -1, 65 -2, 80 – 3, 95 – 4, 110 – 5, 125 6, 140 – 7, 155 – 8, 170 -9, 185 – 10; unless I’m mistaken…

  12. Hi shakar, the Halloween events end at November 17. : )

    I predict the Thief legend comes out in December, together with the last update. There was a hint when Advance of the Union was announced.

    • Also, I’m starting to believe the new hero will be released with the thief revamp also.
      I mean, it has to be a big deal since it’s Christmas. Revamping 2 jobs wouldn’t be a big deal, they’ll have to release the new job.

  13. Hey I just relized they always do things for pirates and tiers last the only group of classes that broke that is the resistance. And by the way if they come out with the thief hero first imagine the resistance thief. And I imagine that the thief hero is gonna be like Mercedes quick and thief assassin+bandit power rolled into one so that means really over powered man

  15. Just a noob question, how did you get “Thief Legendary” out of the Job ID’s, does it say or how does it work, just a general question….

    • He’s just following the trend.

      (t)000 = Beginner.
      (t)xyz =

      t = Type of job/class (Resistance, Explorers etc.)
      x = Class (warrior, mage etc.).
      y = Job Branch.
      z = Job Advancement..

      The next classes to be released were the Cygnus Knights, so a ‘1’ was added in front of them.

      The next class then released was the Aran, a Hero. A ‘2’ was added infront of the job IDs. Evans were added to the ‘2’ category as well and so were Mercedes.

      The resistance came out an a ‘3’ was added in front.

      Cannon Shooters and Dual Blade (and Demon Slayers) were aprt of the Explorers/Resistance so they just add on to the original Job IDs. For example, Sins were 410-412 and Dits were 420-422. Dual Blades were 430-434 (due to abnormal number of advancements).

      Since the new Job ID’s start with a ‘2’, it is most likely a Thief Hero, as the second digit is 4.

    And, I don’t get the new summons for UE’s. Once every 15 levels ? For such a low % attack ? What would be the point ? 😐

  18. thief legend class could be a ninja… like a cb but using a 1 handed sword or a katana. he could teleport and do other ninja stuff.

    and pirate hero should use a cutlass (sword). a sword pirate class would be awesome.

  21. shakar are you sure that Hurricane of BMs get to 250% and Ultimate Strafe of MM’s dont get any boost? (would be unfair for MM’s)

    just wondering though why does the f/p ultimate say 1800 per hit and genesis 2000 % per hit but i/l’s is only 850 per hit? is it a typo ?

      • i probably could just look at the skills but did they revamp pirate and thief UAs too? i guess we get part of there revamp now!

      • nvm about my question i looked & saw the answer but… i think that they only revamped the spearsmen and everything else was just an excuse to make them look like they did not show favoritism for the spearsman. i mean seriously!
        (please note i am not p.o.ed at nexon for this i love them i love dark knights)
        soul rush … O.o they had the only weakness of: no movement skills ’till fourth job.
        dragon roar damage increase and stun … O.0 so you give tiny revamps to everyone else and then the guy with the best 3rd job skill ever you increase that skill’s power?
        OK nexon whatever you say…

        soul rush should also have a name change if there giving it to speersmen but… i guess it would be amusing to watch DKs using soul rush to get around … LOL!
